Peter Boyle, my friend and mentor
Hello everyone,
I've been reading the messages about Peter and wanted to thank you all for sending them. He was a great guy who I'm truly gonna miss. I'm not exaggerating when I say he was a mentor, friend, and father figure to me. I can tell by your comments you got the essence of who he was, and appreciated his talent. The fact that a man as brilliant as he was, would befriend an unknown stand-up comic and make him a better person and actor is just an example of his kindness and humanity.
Thanks for remembering him
Ray
P.S. I know I don't respond much on the website but that doesn't mean I don't read the messages. I do and I like them all, even the ones that don't like me. Keep ‘em coming and thanks again.
P.S.S. Probably my favorite Peter moment from the show (there are a lot ) was when he was singing in the karaoke bar:
"I LEFT MY HEART, IN SAN FRANCISCO.., thank you ladies and gentlemen, my wife thinks I'm in the bathroom....HIGH ON A HILL...".
